Shared capacity, a separate delivery plan

Part-load shipments may share vehicle space. Collection and international departure need not occur on the same day. Ask separately about collection, any holding or transfer, and final delivery. Shared capacity does not mean every small shipment is automatically accepted.

What can a dedicated vehicle address?

Specific loading needs, large volume or a narrower date window may justify a dedicated vehicle assessment. Customs and road conditions still matter. Request a written plan for your dates rather than a general “faster” promise. Compare the same packing and delivery scope.

Send three inputs together

Send packed inventory, date flexibility and access at both ends. Example: a few boxes might arrive anytime in the month, while a piano needs special equipment. Even a small shipment may need a different plan because of one sensitive piece. Confirm minimum service and route availability.

Written-quote preparation checklist

  • Collection and delivery cities, postcodes, floors and lifts.
  • Packed inventory with unknown measurements and sensitive items flagged.
  • Earliest collection and your available receiving window.
  • Included and excluded packing, assembly, storage and other requirements.
