Keeping meeting-room screens and cameras together

Meeting equipment scattered between desks can delay reuse. Record the camera, screen and audio components as one room set.

Keeping meeting-room screens and cameras together

Before you start

Photograph the arrangement and connections. Plan removal of wall- or ceiling-mounted parts with suitable people.

Practical steps

  • Give the camera, microphone and remote the same room code.
  • Pack adapters and connection cables in separate labelled packages.
  • Assess screen position and connection needs in the new room beforehand.

Checks on arrival

Have the organisation's technical owner test picture and sound after installation. Record the component count separately from the functional test result.

What to include in your quote request

Share equipment and furniture inventories, the new layout and working schedule. Assign responsibility for packing, technical disconnection, transport and setup separately. Confirm the service scope and delivery sequence in writing.
