Labelling speaker pairs and audio cables
Left and right speakers, adapters and cables can be mixed up during a move. Add clear component labels to photographs of the original setup.

Before you start
Switch off and disconnect the system safely. Photograph delicate front surfaces and feet, avoiding pressure on speaker faces.
Practical steps
- Mark left and right units with the same set code.
- Arrange cables without tight bends and protect their ends separately.
- Match removable feet and fittings to their corresponding speaker.
Checks on arrival
Compare connections with your photographs at the destination. Inspect housings and connectors for visible damage before starting a sound check.
What to include in your quote request
Add the quantity, approximate dimensions and preparation status to your inventory. Include the floor, lift and vehicle access at both addresses. Photos help with the initial assessment. Confirm responsibility for packing, dismantling and reassembly in the written quote.
