Packing a monitor separately from its stand
A monitor screen, stand and power adapter need separate protection. Tell the surveyor whether the stand is removable as well as the screen size.
Before you start
Check the model's removal instructions. Avoid pressure on the display and photograph existing scratches with the device switched off.
Practical steps
- Label stand screws with the monitor code.
- If the original box is suitable, check that its internal supports are complete.
- Protect the power adapter and display cable separately and match them to the device.
Checks on arrival
Inspect the exterior first on arrival. After setup, check the picture and connections and record any problems alongside packaging photographs.
What to include in your quote request
Add the quantity, approximate dimensions and preparation status to your inventory. Include the floor, lift and vehicle access at both addresses. Photos help with the initial assessment. Confirm responsibility for packing, dismantling and reassembly in the written quote.
