Recording a music studio signal chain before moving
Having equipment in the same room does not identify its connection order. Create a signal-chain plan before the move.

Shut the system down in its proper sequence. Keep private account and project information out of connection photographs.

- Code cables according to their inputs and outputs.
- Match rack fittings and removed small parts to the equipment group.
- Assess special protection needs using each model's instructions.
Checks on arrival
Have the technical owner follow the signal plan during setup. Do not treat physically connected cables as a ready system until functional checks are complete.
What to include in your quote request
Share equipment and furniture inventories, the new layout and working schedule. Assign responsibility for packing, technical disconnection, transport and setup separately. Confirm the service scope and delivery sequence in writing.
