4 weeks before
- Get a quote and fix your date
- Declutter: sell, donate, recycle
- Check passport/visa/residence documents
2 weeks before
- Cancel/transfer utilities and internet
- Notify your bank and authorities of the address change
- Set aside a hand-luggage bag for meds, documents, valuables
1 day before
- Empty and defrost the fridge
- Prepare phone-charger-documents bag
- Photograph meter readings
